The Umbria Jazz Festival

Since 1973 the City of Perugia has hosted The Umbria Jazz Festival every July. Now a world renowned event, the festival is a must for music lovers and features some of the biggest names of the genre.

St. Francis of Assisi

Race of The Candles

Every May 15th since 1160 Gubbio has hosted the Corsa dei Ceri. Three teams, each representing a particular saint and carrying an enormous wooden candle, race from the town square to a nearby mountain top.
