Between Jan. and Apr. every year, humpback whales migrate to area’s the warm waters and one of the best places to watch them is close to Salt Cay. Using smaller boats, you’ll get a close view, and you may even be able to snorkel with them.
Packed with sea life, this is a great place for snorkelers of all levels. Stingrays, turtles, lobsters and lots of brightly coloured fish will likely swim by during your dive near this underwater sanctuary.
Also known as “Iguana Island”, this is the home of the islands’ remaining endangered population of rock iguanas. Located just a short boat ride from Provo’s Leeward Marina, you can also discover it by kayak.
