Outdoors guests can relax by the heated swimming pool nestled among the oak trees and enjoy the beautiful views over the Luberon.

The Luberon region is awash in purple between June and August. One of the best ways to experience this fragrant flower is at Senanque Abbey near Gordes where monks grow fields of it. You can sample everything from lavender soap to lavender sorbet.

Take a picnic and enjoy a swim below a two thousand year old Roman aquaduct in the Gardon River. Combine with a visit to nearby Pont du Gard, and spend time in the museum and lovely cafe.
