With such an impressive number of castles, it's difficult to decide which to see. Named a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of such an impressive array of chateaux, the choices seem endless. Some of the favourites include Chenonceau, Azay-le Rideau and Blois. Come see where the royalty of antiquity escaped their hectic lives.
What better way to enjoy the Loire's abundant natural beauty than on a bicycle? Cyclinng is a favoured pastime in the region, bicycle hire shops are numerous and trips can last from an hour to several days.
Known for it's natural beauty, the Loire Valley is blessed with some of France's most breathtaking green space. Public parks as well as estate gardens and nature reserves are around every corner in "The Garden of France".
