A Taste of Mexico: Experience A Traditional Mexican Cooking School

Category: Activities & Experiences | 03.26.2021

It would be hard (or near impossible) to visit Mexico without indulging in their authentic cuisine. We like to take it one step further by spending a day experiencing a traditional Mexican cooking school with two of Mexico’s finest chefs, Alejandra Kauachi and Tomas Medina, who are both dedicated to sharing the traditions and flavors of their ancestors. For the foodies in your group – this is a dream come true!

They offer cooking school 7 days a week to allow visitors to immerse themselves in the flavours of Mexico. Pick a day of the week where the menu suits you, and spend the morning visiting a fully sustainable and eco-friendly organic garden where you can learn about produce and sustainable growing. This is what experiencing a traditional Mexican Cooking School is all about after all.

Then you’ll get your hands dirty creating 7 traditional Mexican recipes. End your day indulging in your creation, sipping on a tequila tasting, and appreciating the unique Mexican culture and jungle surroundings.
