Built in the 12th century, Le Collectionneur offers guests a unique experience. The Luberon region is awash in purple between June and August. One of the best ways to experience this fragrant flower is at Senanque Abbey near Gordes where monks grow fields of it. You can sample everything from lavender soap to lavender sorbet.
The red ochre cliffs and quarries in the Luberon are an amazing spectacle. The trails in the area are easily accessible and suitable for all age groups.

Take a picnic and enjoy a swim below a two thousand year old Roman aquaduct in the Gardon River. Combine with a visit to nearby Pont du Gard, and spend time in the museum and lovely cafe.
