Aspen is one of the first places in North America where backcountry skiing took hold and remains an incredible destination for backcountry skiers. Take a guided ski tour designed by highly trained and certified ski instructors that know this backcountry like the back of their hand.

Hike The Bowl

This bucket list trip is a rite of passage for adventure seekers. The Bowl’s peak is located 12,382 above sea level and a 48-degree vertical climb but the picture worthy views at the end of the hike make it all worth it.

Après Ski at Ajax Tavern

On the bottom of Little Nell on Aspen Mountain, you’ll find the go-to après ski restaurant in Aspen. Ski right into the outdoor patio and enjoy a bite to eat while basking in the sun and taking in the picturesque view of the Rocky Mountains.

Glenwood Hot Springs

Aspen Mountain

Breathtaker Alpine Coaster

Glide along an elevated, mile long track through a pine-tree forest on a single or double person sled. The ride starts with a 400-foot climb before riders hurtle down the mountain. Ride it during the day or at night and see the lights of the village.

Snowmass ski school

Known as one of the United States’ best ski and snowboard school. Whether you’re learning to take your first turn or learning a new terrain, Snowmass Pro’s are there to share their knowledge and experience. Enjoy learning in a private lesson or as a group.

Sledding

Complete your family winter getaway with sledding at the Aspen Recreation Centre. While sliding down the slopes you’ll have a view of the skiers and snowboarders riding down the Thunderbowl run on Aspen Highlands Mountain.

Snowshoe

Snowmass is a natural outdoor playground, all year round. Explore the beauty of the Rocky Mountains on by foot or snowshoes during the winter months. Take a guided tour to the top of the Elk Camp Gondola to learn about the Rocky Mountains winter ecology and animals.
