Events & Places

Todos Santos

This funky surf town is one of Mexico’s best kept secrets… for now. Just 1 hour from Cabo San Lucas, it offers colonial architecture, art galleries, coastal cuisine, and of course, great surf breaks.

Sport fishing

Los Cabos is ranked among the top fishing destination in the world, and the leading location for striped marlin. You’ll also find sailfish, swordfish, tuna, dorado and snapper in these waters, to name a few.

Land’s End

At the tip of the Baja Peninsula stands the famed El Arco, the iconic rock arch at Cabo’s Land’s End, which separates the Pacific from the Sea of Cortes. One of the destination’s top attractions, for a close up view, visit by boat.

Cabo Pulmo Parque Nacional

Coined the “aquarium of the world” by none other than Jacques Cousteau, this protected marine park features 10 dive spots within a sheltered bay and, thanks to the warmer water temps here, the only living coral reef in the Sea of Cortes.

The Gallery District

Artist central in San Jose del Cabo, on Thursday evenings from November to June, the main street of Obregon transforms into a pedestrian only zone of open art galleries with exhibits, wine and a chance to meet and chat with local artists.

Palmilla Golf Club

Named the golfing capital of Mexico, Los Cabos is home to 7 of the best courses in the country, including this famed club. A Jack Nicklaus signature design, it is comprised of The Mountain Course, The Ocean Course and the Arroyo Course.

For Kids

The Buccaneer Queen

For the little pirates in your life, this magnificent tall ship offers a variety of tours, including sunset sails, whale watching and snorkeling. You’ll love the amazing views, while your kids will love the onboard pirate fight!

Whale watching

From mid-Dec. to mid-Apr., numerous species of whales frequent the waters off Los Cabos, including gray, humpback, sperm, blue and whale sharks. You can also see the humpbacks in the Sea of Cortes, where they gather to feed in the calmer waters.

Wild Canyon Adventure

This 284-acre adventure park offers every adrenaline-junkie’s favourite activities: zip lining, bungee jumping, ATV riding, and a giant swing suspended from a gondola 300 ft. above the ground. There are also a variety of exotic animals here.

Beach Days

Within the 80-ish kilometres of coastline are dozens of beaches, of which only 6 are swimmable. For calm waters that are safe for the kids, head over to Playa Medano, Cabo’s most popular beach and headquarters for motorized water sports.

Turtle Release

Every year, several species of endangered sea turtles nest in the sands here. Baja Outback Adventure offers a certified naturalist-led program in which you can “adopt” a hatchling and help it make its way into the sea.
