Whitewash villa on the Amalfi Coast

Located in the shelter of an enchanting bay along the coastal road from Amalfi, Villa Azzurra gives the impression of having grown organically out of the cliffs. Broad terraces are positioned among olive trees, pines and fragrant citrus. Comfort is at hand with four, spacious bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen and plenty of living space. The main terrace is shaded by a huge pergola draped with pink and purple bougainvillea, while in the shelter of the lowest terrace is the pool. Just 15 minutes along the road is the lively and picturesque town of Amalfi.

Events & Places

Isle of Capri

No trip to the region would be complete without a day on this island. Capri is known for its beautiful beaches, vibrant town and stunning mountain views. Take the Ana Capri cablecar into the mountains for unforgettable vistas.

View from the sea

This is the perfect way to see the coastal towns such as Amalfi and Positano. On a boat you will see large sections of the unique splendor of the coast without schedules or walking the winding steps. Just relax and enjoy!

"in spaggia"

At the beach - although known for its rugged cliffs that plunge into the sea, The Amalfi Coast is also blessed with spectacular beaches that dot the waterline. The beaches in Maiori are some of the best in the region. Relax where the sand meets the clear blue waters of the sea or stroll the promenades and visit the shops and cafes.

Visit the Caves

Take a boat tour through the stunning Blue Grotto Cave on Capri or visit The Grotta dello Smeraldo (Emerald) Cave near Praiano. The caves are bathed in natural blue and emerald light and the effect on the water is a photographers dream!

Valle Delle Ferriere

This protected area near Salerno is perfect for those who wish to escape the crowds of the coastal towns. The lush green forests and natural beauty are a must for those wishing to stretch their legs on one of the many hiking and cycling paths. The park is complete with superb views of the coast and stunning waterfalls.

For Kids

Pompeii and Herculaneum

Walk in the footsteps of the ancient Romans in the archeological sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum. See how the Romans lived their everyday lives before the towns were consumed (and preserved) by the ash of Mount Vesuvius.

Take in a Festival

Most of the towns along the coast have a festival that takes place during the summer months. Many of these are centered around Saints and can include processions, local food stalls and entertainment. Stick around because many of the festivals cap off the evening with a show of fireworks.

Make Your Favorite

Nothing says Italy like pizza and Gelato. Sorrento offers various hands on lessons that will bring out the Italian chef in anybody. Learn the trade secrets passed down from generations of families and experience your very own "slice" of heaven.

History and Industry

A great way to spend the day. Although based on tourism, the region still boasts a rich history of papermaking, cheese production and the local art of lemon farming. Try a tour of the history of paper production at the Museo della Carta in Amalfi or The Michelangelo Cheese Factory in Sorrento.
