Events & Places

Hit the Beach

With a long list of beaches, St. Tropez has lured sun seekers from all over the globe. Some of the best known include Pampelonne Beach, Tahiti Beach and Moorea. Most offer water sport activities and beach side dining.

The Old Port

Walk the wide promenade along St. Tropez's old port and take in the array of fishing craft and luxurious yachts. Don't forget the ancient market and the daily fish market that offer some of the freshest fish and produce in the region.

Les Voiles de St. Tropez

Each year at the end of September, sailboat aficionados descend on the town for what has become a renowned sailboat regatta.

Shop 'til you drop

Luxurious, chic and expensive are all words that can be used to descibe the myriad of boutiques and shops that line the water in the old town. Move away from the water to find more modest shops.

Front row seat at Cannes

If you find yourself vacationing on the French Riviera in May, stay around to watch some of the phenomenal films and enjoy the glamorous after-parties.

Timeless charm

Cote d’Azur’s timeless charm is best observed from a restaurant overlooking the azure Mediterranean. Go shopping on the palm-peppered Promenade de la Croisette and sit down for lunch at one of the spectacular restaurants overlooking the deep blue Mediterranean Sea.

Le Vieux Nice

Perhaps one of the most famous spots on Cote d’Azur, Nice is overflowing with beautiful sights. No place is as glamorous and poignant as Nice’s Old Town, where you’ll find silk scarves and crepes alike.

For Kids

The Citadel

Above the village sits the Citadel built in the 1600's. The views from the fortress are spectacular and the fortress is home to The Museum of Maritime History, housed in the former dungeons.

Book a Boat

Various tours offer boat rides up and down the coast of the Riviera for families who wish to explore the area. Many include snorkeling, fishing and a myriad of activities.

Azur Park

Get away from the village and enjoy the rides and food of the region's best amusement park. A nice way to let the kids burn off some steam.

Maison des Papillons

With specimans from around the world the Butterfly Museum is a treat with more than 35,000 items on display. From the weird to the beautiful, the collection is considered one of the most complete anywhere.

Enjoy the Water

While on the dazzling beaches why not engage your family in a popular watersport? Activities can include everything from kayaking and parasailing to snorkeling and jet-skiing.
