Its surrounding 3 hectares of olive groves and vineyards assure you of privacy, while filling the air with quintessentially Tuscan aromas.

Lovingly restored in recent years to create a colorful and comfortable home, Casa Passerini welcomes you with spacious living areas that open onto the superb gardens and two elegant pools. The designer kitchen is extremely well-equipped and you can enjoy your culinary creations at the massive dining table or on the shaded terrace just outside. Each bedroom has its own stylish bathroom -- designed with typical Italian flair -- and boasts fabulous views of the surrounding countryside.

Though secluded at the heart of its own estate, Casa Passerini is only 5 minutes by car from the small villages of Cignano and Centoia where you can have a coffee, while just up the road is Cortona -- a delightful town full of art, museums, winding cobblestone streets and an Etruscan archeological heritage. Within an hour's drive, you can visit Arezzo, Siena and the famous wine villages around Montepulciano and Montalcino, or venture into Umbria to Perugia and Assisi. Florence is just over an hour away and at the end of the day, there is always the peace and quiet of this luxurious property to come home to.

Sleeps up to 12 adults in 7 bedrooms, each with en suite bathroom. First floor: Bedroom 1 (twins, 36"), bathroom with shower. Second floor: Bedroom 2 (queen, 68"), dressing area, bathroom with shower and tub; Bedroom 3 (queen, 68"), bathroom with shower; Bedroom 4 and Bedroom 5 (both queens, 68"), each with bathroom with tub and shower combination; Bedroom 6 (twins, can be joined 36"), bathroom with tub and shower combination. Third floor: Bedroom 7 (queen, 68"), ensuite bathroom with shower.
Living Space
First floor: spacious living areas with plentiful seating and garden access; dining area with antique table and fireplace; separate wine-tasting room. Second floor: living room with comfortable seating, imposing fireplace and Venetian chandelier.
Outdoors
Idyllic country setting with fields of sunflowers and grain amid the undulating hills typical of Tuscany. Covered al fresco dining area, adjacent gravel terrace and kitchen garden; covered seating area overlooking the front lawn, the neighboring vineyards, and Cortona. Outdoor pizza oven. Two pools below the dining terrace, a large rectangular pool and a smaller lounge pool; covered table tennis area.
Household Amenities
Wide screen TV with DVD player, high-speed Internet access, state-of-the-art sound system throughout the house. Fully outfitted kitchen with 6-burner gas stove, two dishwashers, two refrigerators and freezers and breakfast area. Air conditioning throughout, full laundry facilities. Included with the house is the house cook who will lay out breakfast each morning and prepare either lunch or dinner for you. Food expenses are additional.
