Grand Country Living near Todi
Sitting proudly on the skyline among the rolling hills of Umbria, this imposing villa complex makes the perfect base for discovering the riches of the region — if, that is, you can bear to leave it. From the poolside terrace you’ll enjoy panoramic views over a checkerboard of olive groves, vineyards and fields of sunflowers accented by rows of majestic cypress trees, and a picture-postcard view of Todi in the neighboring hills.
Stepping into the welcoming hallway of Borghetto di Frontignano, you’ll be struck by the lofty ceilings and open archways leading through the sitting and dining areas -- a clue to the 15th century origins of the property, originally built as a large church. Now imaginatively restored to maintain an old-world ambience, yet providing sophisticated, modern amenities, this spectacular villa offers generous amounts of space inside and out, and every amenity is on hand to ensure a pleasurable and trouble-free vacation.
