By nature, I am a true Zagreber - bright and cheerful!
My name is Ana and I was born in Zagreb, the capital city of Croatia. My husband and I own a graphic art and photography studio and also run an art gallery featuring local artists. Ten years ago my husband and I fell in love with Primosten, so much so we decided to buy an apartment there so we could spend our summers by the coast. The role of being a Local Host allows me the privilege of doing a job which I truly enjoy while at the same time getting to know new people.
When you are surrounded by such natural beauty it is difficult to say what the best things to see and do are on any given day!
My perfect day in Dalmatia would be...
After breakfast at your villa, your perfect day would begin with being picked up and transferred to Split where you'd meet your tour guide. After a cup of coffee on Split's incredible waterfront called the Riva, the guide will take you through the old parts of Split to truly experience the wonder of this city.
After the tour, your island hopping trip begins! You will be taken to the island of Hvar, to shop and explore this ancient island community. After sightseeing, the boat will take you to your next destination, the Pakleni Islands. Not just one island, but rather a family of 16. You'll cruise through the islands and stop and have a swim to cool off from the Croatian sun. Make landfall and enjoy a late lunch, some more shopping and a cocktail at one of the best cocktail bars on the Adriatic Coast.
On the way back the captain will first pass beside the island of Brac where you will be able to glimpse the old town of Milna. After that, stop at the island of Solta and the town of Maslenica, home of the Martinis Marchi Castle, to enjoy some more drinks, pastries and ice cream!
Return to the mainland and be taken back to your villa to a fully prepared authentic Croatian meal prepared by the Villa Chef.
